For our fastgrowing client (Uber) we are looking for an QHSE Specialist. You monitor injury, illness, and incident related performance within the geographical / contractual area of responsibility. You will also monitor performance for trends or other indicators of improving or degrading incident performance, and develop and implement strategic solutions that will improve the performance results as required.
As a QHSE specialist you act as a resource to staff and internal customers as the HSE Subject Matter Expert. You provide direct and timely advise and information to the management in all matters related to HSE performance, compliance, trends, and concerns. You implement all corporate HSE initiatives, and communicate all corporate HSE priorities in a manner that effectively drives program consistency and effectiveness across the account.
You oversee the specific HSE plans, playbooks, and procedures to make certain they are current, complete, and effectively implemented. You also monitor HSE regulatory compliance and communicate all findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible managers to effect timely and necessary corrections.
Besides this, you develop and implement strategic solutions that will support management's efforts to improve and maintain compliance as required, you identify opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing quality of services and respond to client employee concerns regarding HSE matters.
You support compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Client Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and client policies and procedures.
