Facility Coördinator (Junior)

Function description

We are looking to add a Junior Facilities Coordinator for the Amsterdam team for our new client: Uber!

This role will coordinate the daily operations of the office in Amsterdam, City side, this office has 200 workstations. You will coordinate all our facilities management functions, as well as some small to medium sized office improvement projects. We care for our employees, our partners and our visitors, and this needs to be communicated through best-in-class facility services. We take a lot of pride in what we do. You will work in close collaboration with the facility management leadership and have an opportunity to make a difference in how we facilitate our offices.


  • Provide prompt response to requests and issues from occupants via the Place Help Center
  • Offer support in meeting room bookings
  • Processing, tracking and managing Purchase Orders and Invoices
  • Coordinate preventive and emergency maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment
  • Operational vendor management
  • Conduct and document regular facilities inspections and audits
  • Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency
  • Be an active member of the Office Hero programme - by responding to and reporting offices emergencies
  • Ensure workstations, security badges, and other tools are set up for new hires
  • Coordinate small sized office improvement projects with the support of the Build team
  • Support the Subregional Run Manager and team with ad hoc facilities projects/tasks
  • Create Playbooks for different kinds of facility processes
  • Collaborate with security team to ensure security standards are met
  • Collaborate with onsite Tech Service teams to ensure office needs are being met
  • Strives to continuously improve client satisfaction

We offer:

  • Monthly salary between 2,400.- and 3,100.-;
